Effective Teaching Practices for Success During COVID 19 Pandemic: Towards Phygital Learning

Following the outbreak of COVID 19 in February 2020, Indian universities were shut down and used digital platforms to teach their students since then. Drawing from Kolb’s Learning Theory, John Dewey’s theory, Jack Mezirows transformative learning Jean Piaget’s authors this paper offer a viewpoint on some practical teaching practices which can be adapted business schools India successful emerging blended or phygital environment. Using Community Inquiry (CoI) framework, reflect effective based own experience, theoretical knowledge gained an exhaustive web search various databases period, particularly August 2020. The performed careful manual content analysis selected research papers. They concluded seven principal methods create environment for faculties schools: a) reframing virtual spaces through online repository labs b) using reflective thinking andragogical pedagogical approach c) teachers’ readiness genres courses demand d) reinforcing resilience meaningful participation conflict resolution e) purposeful inquiry-based f) experiential inclusive pivot g) useful apps are discussed reach out parents community. These initiatives influence academicians, educationists, podcasters, entire teacher fraternity design efficient adequate plan student community India.
